Guys some political things are bothering me.

What is the most well known political scandal in history? Easy-Watergate right?

Here’s the thing, that was a cover up by the President. Nixon was proven not to even have known about the break in to the Watergate Hotel-he just told people to cover it up. He wasn’t a crook necessarily, he was just scummy.

But guys, look at what’s going on now. Benghazi ended in people dying-Susan Rice had lies as talking points, and no one knows who specifically gave her those lies.

The IRS has targeted people SPECIFICALLY for their politics. These people have the power to make life impossible, even if you do things right, and they’re doing it to harm people because of their ideas.

Out of a cover up, negligence ending in death, and government attacking citizens they disagree with-what’s worse?

I really care about gay marriage. I do. However I think there are very disturbing things going on that aren’t getting the attention they deserve.

“Kids can’t learn about sexuality and gender because it’s too scary or confusing for them” yeah because YOU told them they there are ONLY straight men and straight women from the age of three and then used that limited scope an an excuse to carry on dodging the subject.

I found the seven times table scary and confusing but I still had to do about 20 exams about it

I love my father.  I also hate him. 

He and I just had a conversation about real estate.  This conversation turned into a conversation about which group was more normal-gay people or the clergy (gay sex vs no sex)…yep.

I’m not going to post the conversation abridged or otherwise.  Obviously if you follow me you know where I stand, and my dad is in the other camp. I’m just going to say I need to become really successful in real estate so I can get out of here. 

I also want a boyfriend.  Mainly because I feel I’m ready, responsible, and wouldn’t be emotionally dependent on him.  To a much smaller degree I want someone to commit to in order to prove my dad wrong (he thinks gay people will never commit because they’re men who get sex without a woman-and don’t need commitment). 

I love my dad, but I hate his generation-not just because of the ton of debt they’re leaving us all-but because I need them to die so we can move forward.  I dream that I can move to Canada (aka fast forward to marriage equality) and live without the strain of our country being divided over EVERYTHING. 

I need a break, but since I won’t get one…
